Warranty of Product Including Claims For Product Received Damaged:

We, Ceiling Tiles By Us, Inc., guarantee our products to be free of defects of craftsmanship aligned to the manufacturer’s warranty but not beyond that. We inspect every item prior to shipment and in the unlikely event the product shipped arrives at the delivery location damaged or there exist any hidden craftsmanship or manufacturing defect such as in design form, color etc. the customer shall:

New Duties and Tariffs on Some Products:

NOTICE:
Now the U.S. is ending the De minimis scheme effective from August 29, 2025. As a result, all NOT IN STOCK PVC CEILING TILES AND PVC BACKSPLASH will be affected and subjected to Duties and Tariffs. THIS CHANGE WILL HAVE NO IMPACT  ON   OUR INSTOCK PRODUCTS, CURRENTLY IN THE USA WAREHOUSE.

Additionally, some documentation or clearance issues may arise, as DHL may request identification of the consignee. This change is applicable and will impact international factory direct to consumer product shipments.

What is “de minimis”?

The “de minimis” rule in US trade policy allows for duty-free and minimal inspection for low-value imports valued at or below $800.00. The “de minimis” rule ends August 29, 2025, as to any shipment shipped internationally on or after August 29, 2025.
Now, regarding the duties, shipments Internationally from Factory will be subject to 4.2% Standard Duty + 25% Reciprocal Duties + 25% Additional Duties totaling 54.2%. Therefore, if PVC Ceiling Tiles or PVC Backsplash is not in stock in the USA we reserve to quote and receive additional payment of the duty & tariff on any purchase to move forward to process and ship. Please contact us at sales@ceilingtilesbyus.com to determine if product is in stock in USA, THE DUTY AND TARIFF ISSUE CAN CHANBE AND MOST LIKELY WIIL END AT ANY POINT IN TIME.
This of course can change and most likely will at any time.

Shipping Cost:

Shipping cost, other than posted sale applicable to discount and shipping restrictions, is a standard charge/minimum varying as to different products plus after accumulated usage is absorbs the minimum charge will progressively increase incrementally adjusted as to dimensions of product ordered. Shipping Charges can be checked at checkout prior to payment by Calculating S & H with inserting Country, State, City & Zip Code. We ship some products by Fed Ex, UPS, USPS & DHL 2–5-day ground & home delivery, in the contiguous forty-eight states, USA. Some products are shipped by Freight Carrier, LTL. We reserve the right to quote S & H should an unexpected scenario arise to include all bulky products or products shipped on pallets.

 

NOTICE: CUSTOMERS WHO WANT TO SET UP THEIR OWN SHIPPING IS NOT OUR PREFERRED METHOD OF OPERATION DUE TO THAT PRACTICE CAUSING MANY PROBLEMS AND DELAYS. FREIGHT CARRIES TAKE THE POSITION THAT THE BOL LISTED SHIPPER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FREIGHT CHARGES. THEREFORE IF THAT FREIGHT BILL IS NOT PROMPTLY PAID THE FREIGHT CARRIER ENGAGES COLLECTION PROCEDURES WHICH EXPOSES CEILING TILES BY US INC TO BEING FORCED TO PAY THOSE CHARGES. WE HAVE EXPERIENCE MANY ISSUES IN THAT AREA AS WELL AS BOL NOT PROPERLY PREPARED, THE PICK UP IS OVERLOOKED ETC. IN MANY INSTANCES THE CUSTOMER  WHO IS MAKING THE PURCHASE INVOLVES OTHER PEOPLE TO PROCESS AND THINGS FALL APART. FOR THESE REASONS IN INSTANCES WHERE THE CUSTOMER INSIST OR THE COMPANY POLICY & PROCEDURES  REQUIRES THEM  UTILIZE THEIR FREIGHT CARRIER THERE WILL BE A SURCHARGE OF  $150.00 plus 40% OF THE PRODUCT PURCHASE PRICE

Product Return Policy:

Our Return policy is that the shipped product can be returned however this policy does not apply to all products. Some products are large, heavy and ship on pallets by freight carrier. Such as certain Glassless Mirrors, Acoustical Ceiling Tiles & Melt Away or Drop Out Foam Ceiling Tiles and these products are a final sale no return and no refund. Products such as PVC Ceiling Tiles, Styrofoam Ceiling Tiles, Crown Moldings can be returned provided the shipped product has not been altered or damaged and remains unaltered and undamaged at customers expense with all Return and Shipping arrangements handled by Customer and paid for by the Customer. The Customer is solely responsible for making return shipping and handling arrangements and the cost or expense associated with the return shipping and handling. It is requested the customer alert Ceiling Tiles By Us Inc of the return to allow us to expect to receive the returned product. The product shall be returned within 30 days of purchase and delivery of the product. A Restocking and Handling Fee shall apply and be equal to 25% of the product purchase price but in no event less than the minimal restocking fee of $30.00. With the above conditions complied with the refund will be processed within 14 days of product receipt. The purchase date and or delivery date will apply as the start of the 30 days, and should the customer elect to return the product at a point after the stated 30 days after the delivery and or purchase date then no refund will be available. Instead, a credit toward a future purchase may apply for the net return amount, less any initial shipping and handling or return shipping and handling and applicable restocking fee, provided the stated transaction, subsequent purchase, shall occur within 60 days of the confirmed return date, provided the above conditions are complied with.

All International Sales and Shipments are reviewed, analized with applicable information/data and final quotation and position provided in writing to and from customer. Our Web Site/Web Store Pricing of product and shipping and handling  does not include taxes, duties, import fees etc except as to purchases in the state of Florida as to Florida Sales Tax and only to the State Of Florida, no other venue is included.

Damaged Product Received

We do purchase insurance, and declare value to Courier.

Inspection of Product Upon Arrival of Shipment and What to in the unlikely event you encounter Damaged Product:

We inspect every item prior to shipment. Nevertheless, Please examine all shipping packages when they arrive and make sure they are not damaged in any way. Despite the “Fragile Stickers” look for puncture hole they may penetrate the double strength shipping boxes we use. Check the corners of the boxes for indentation or any sign of damage. If you believe based upon the appearance of the box or boxes that there is a possible damage to the contents, notify the delivery person about it immediately. Make a note of your findings and actions on the document that you may be asked to sign, or ask the delivery person to provide you a form where you can specify that you have seen open and obvious damage to the shipment boxes and suspect possible concealed damage to the product within the shipment boxes.

Additionally should you encounter any damaged product it is required that you document that damage and do the following:

DELIVERY TO RESTRICTED LOCATIONS.

Some delivery locations are restricted areas such as Military Bases, Prisons, Schools, NASA Locations, Medical Facilities  etc. and have restrictions on entry. This also applies to International Shipments as well as to shipments to the United States of America. In particular this applies to Bulky Products such as Acoustical Ceiling Tiles, Glassless Mirrors, Melt awy Foam Ceiling Tiles etc. Often times such products are shipped on Pallets.  If there are shipment locations as covered herein and or restrictions on the delivery location as far as clearances, approval etc. we reserve the right to modify our quote. We state as most often request for quotations lack specificity such scenarios. For accurate quotations the customer must provide information as to any delivery location restrictions. Our quote is on the basis that entry terms to delivery locations must be provided to us too or we reserve the right to add a supplemental delivery charge to the quote or sale. Our quote is within the parameters that simple or basic rules apply for delivery such as show Identification such as Invoice and Driver’s License.
